The first match saw a thriller between UP Warriorz and Gujarat Giants. The Giants scored 178/6 with Ashleigh Gardner topping the scoreboard with 60 off 39 and Dayalan Hemalatha scoring 57 off 33. Rajeshwari Gayakwad and Parshavi Chopra took two wickets each. While chasing, UP Warriorz lost the openers quickly but Grace Harris yet again rose to the occasion. Her match-winning knock of 72 along with Tahira McGrath’s 57 helped UP Warriorz in the chase. However, Gujarat sent Harris back in the 19th over but Sophie Ecclestone won the match for the Warriorz with a boundary on the fifth ball of the final over.

In the second match, Mumbai Indians had a terrible beginning. They batted first and lost four wickets in seven overs for just 21 runs on the board. Harmanpreet Kaur (23), Pooja Vastrakar (26), Issy Wong (23), and Amanjot Kaur (19) managed to take the total to 109 for the loss of eight wickets. The chase was never difficult for Delhi Capitals. They scored the required run in just nine overs losing the wicket of Shafal Verma (33). Alica Capsey and Meg Lanning remained unbeaten on 38 and 32 respectively. Marizanne Kapp, Shikha Pandey, and Jess Jonassen took two wickets each for Delhi Capitals and helped them to restrict Mumbai batters.
