Gujarat Giants were thrashed by Delhi capitals as batting first the Gujarat side could manage to score a total of 105 for the loss of nine wickets. Marizanne Kapp ran through the line-up and picked up five wickets conceding only 15 runs. Shikha Pandey scalped three wickets for 26 runs. Kim Garth was the highest scorer for Gujarat Giants with 32 runs to her name.

In response, it was a cakewalk for Delhi Capitals. Shafali Verma smashed 76 off just 28 deliveries as the captain Meg Lanning scored 21 off 15. Delhi Capitals went on to win the game by 10 wickets as they scored 107 without losing a single wicket in just 7.1 overs. As Delhi Capitals cemented their second place on the Points Table, Mumbai Indians continue to lead the same.
