ICC Women’s ODI Rankings: Australia Women won their fourth World Cup by thrashing the England Women, four Australia players remain in the top six in the recently released MRF ICC ODI Rankings for Women. The knock of 170 in the final of Women’s ODI World Cup 2022 took Alyssa Healy to the top while Beth Mooney, Meg Lanning, and Rachael Haynes also joined her in third, fifth, and sixth positions. Healy Reaches Top Of Women’s ODI Rankings

Laura Wolvaardt’s stay at the top was short-lived as she moved down to the fourth spot. With two half-centuries in the round-robin stage, Healy was in fifth place last week. ICC Women’s ODI Rankings: Indians on the List

Mithali Raj and Smriti Mandhana are the two Indians to feature in the top 10. Raj is in seventh place followed by Mandhana in ninth. Deepti Sharma and Jhulan Goswami are ranked in seventh and tenth positions respectively on the all-rounders’ list. Sharma scored 62 runs and took two wickets while Goswami scored 45 runs and took seven wickets in the tournament.

Among the bowlers, Sophie Ecclestone, despite having a poor final continues to lead the rankings, Her six wickets in the semi-final against South Africa were her career-best bowling figures. Shabnim Ismail, who finished second among the wicket-takers in the World Cup, move up to second. Anya Shrubsole’s brilliant performance in the knockout games that saw her scalping five wickets helped her gain five places to eighth, a spot above team-mate Kate Cross. The Indian legend Jhulan Goswami who could play India’s last match against South Africa stands at fifth with seven wickets from six matches.
