The ICC Women’s Cricket World Cup 2022 Event Technical Committee has approved the replacement, which would see Graham joining the squad immediately.

Ashleigh Gardner tested positive on March 3 ahead of the commencement of the ICC Women’s World Cup 2022. The 24-year-old all-rounder is currently under isolation for 10 days as per ICC and New Zealand Government Health Guidelines. Heather Graham made her ODI debut for Australia Women against Sri Lanka Women on October 7th, 2019. She scored an unbeaten 4 runs off 5 deliveries. With the ball, she picked up a wicket for 29 from eight overs. Her only international wicket to date is Sri Lankan player Achini Kulasuriya.

Heather Graham has played only one international match thus far. She will make her maiden ICC Women’s World Cup appearance if she manages to find a place in the playing XI.
