IPL 2023: Gujarat Titans Unveils New Jersey

Gujarat Titans, the defending champions, have revealed their new jersey for the upcoming season of the Indian Premier League- IPL 2023. One of the notable changes in the new jersey is the addition of a star mark embossed on top of their team logo in their new jersey. Meanwhile, the 2022 IPL champions have retained their traditional dark blue shade which is the same as last year’s jersey with a slight variation in the collar and the back.

The reigning champions on Thursday, March 9, unveiled their new jersey for their second IPL season. The franchise took to its official social media handle and shared a video highlighting the details of its latest jersey.

“Proud to have a Star on our jersey! The much-loved jersey is back with enhancements that display our winning attitude. Watch the jersey come alive!,” Gujarat Titans captioned the post.

After coming into existence last year, Titans under the exemplary leadership of Hardik Pandya made an impressive mark in the IPL 2022 by winning 10 of their 14 group matches and eventually topping the points table. Playing their first season last year, Titans defeated the inaugural champions Rajasthan Royals in the final at their home ground in Ahmedabad to clinch the title in their maiden IPL season. With this win, the Hardik Pandya-led team became the second team to win the IPL in their first season.

IPL 2023: Titans to Kickstart Their Campaign Against CSK

With IPL 2023 set to return to the traditional home-away format, each franchise will be playing matches on its home ground, unlike the COVID-19 era. Gujarat Titans will be playing their home games at the iconic Narendra Modi Stadium in Ahmedabad.

The Ahmedabad-based franchise are slotted in Group B along with Chennai Super Kings (CSK), Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB) Punjab Kings (PBKS), and Sunrisers Hyderabad (SRH). Titans will be hosting Chennai Super Kings in the tournament opener of the forthcoming 16th season of the tournament on March 31 at their home ground in Ahmedabad.
