IPL 2023 Auction will be taking place on December 23 in Kochi. The bidding war is scheduled to get underway at 2:30 PM IST.
The players’ list includes 185 capped, 786 uncapped, and 20 players from Associate Nations. Notably, if every franchise were to have a maximum of 25 players in their squad, 87 players are available to be bought in the auction of which up to 30 players can be overseas players. 21 Players have listed their names under the highest base price of INR 2 crores, all from overseas. 10 players have registered their names under INR 1.5 crore category while 24 players have registered their names under INR 1 crore price category.
