The CSK will play the Rajasthan Royals in their final game of the season later on Friday. While all eyes will be on MS Dhoni as he prepares to reveal his CSK future, the Super Kings will also be looking to give their young guns opportunities.

Prashant Solanki, who made his CSK debut against the Gujarat Titans in the previous match, is one of them. CSK paid INR 1.2 crore for the leg-spinner after a bidding war with Rajasthan Royals for his signature.

Solanki opened up about his early years in cricket in a video for the Super Kings, recalling a personal moment from 2013, when he was a ball boy for Sachin Tendulkar’s farewell Test at the Wankhede Stadium in Mumbai.
He said in the video that he had been to Wankhede to watch his matches. He revealed that in Sachin’s last Test match at Wankhede, he was the ball-boy. Solanki was sitting right in front of his stand.
“One incident happened where he came on the boundary to the field and I was sitting there. I was awestruck. He was calling me for water and some energy drink, I was just awestruck standing there. I couldn’t hear a word he was saying because the crowd was so loud. Later, he kept his hand on my shoulder, pulled me closer and told me to get an energy drink for me. That was my moment of the day, that interaction. That was an unforgettable memory for me,”
revealed the 22-year-old spinner.
