Watch: Arjun Tendulkar bowls an unplayable Toe-crushing yorker to Nehal Wadhera at Nets ahead of the IPL 2024
The preparation for the Indian Premier League 2024 has started, and every team and its players are sweating hard to get ready before the tournament gets underway. Chennai Super Kings will look to defend their title and make it six in total. However, there is one other team that will enter the tournament to win their sixth title. And it is none other than the Mumbai Indians. MI, who won the last title in 2021, has been pretty active preseason.
They made a massive move to trade in Hardik Pandya and replace Rohit Sharma from the captaincy. All these things are done to win the championship. The franchise also did a pretty commendable job picking the players for the IPL 2024 auction. MI has setup their camp in Mumbai, and players are reaching and have started practicing at the nets.

The new skipper, Hardik Pandya, has also reached Mumbai, and the training has begun. Arjun Tendulkar, who has been part of the team since 2021, has also joined the team and started his preparation. The franchise released a video clip of Arjun Tendulkar on Twitter (now X), where he was seen bowling some toe-crushing yorkers to his teammate Nehal Wadhera.
Junior Tendulkar bowled a quick yorker to the batter, which hit his toe, and he fell down. The coming season will be a big platform for Arjun, as he has played only three matches in three seasons for MI. All those games came in 2023. He featured in the Ranji Trophy 2023–24 but couldn’t make his mark. However, he has improved his all-round skills and can be a handy contributor.
MI might give him more chances in the coming season, but they now have a great balance after Hardik’s return. However, it will be interesting to see how Mumbai will perform under him. MI will play their opening game in the coming season against Hardik’s former team, Gujarat Titans, on March 24 at Narendra Modi Stadium, Ahmedabad.
