Earlier, the Sanju Samson-led Rajasthan Royals side posted a massive total of 203-5 in their 20 overs. RR openers Jos Buttler and Yashasvi Jaiswal carried on the form they had in the previous edition of the Indian Premier League as both the openers smashed quick-fire fifties.

RR vs SRH: Trent Boult dismisses Abhishek Sharma with a peach of a delivery

Trent Boult came in to bowl the first over against Sunrisers Hyderabad. The left-arm pacer bowled two consecutive dot balls after which Abhishek Sharma looked under some pressure to play the big shot as his side was chasing a huge total.

On the third delivery of the first over, Boult bowled an exceptional out-swinging yorker to Abhishek Sharma. The left-handed batter tried to dig the yorker out while remaining leg-side of the ball. The ball swung away and knocked him off-stump.

Jason Holder’s brilliant catch helps Trent Boult get his second wicket in RR vs SRH game

After the dismissal of Abhishek Sharma, SRH’s key batter Rahul Tripathi came in to bat. Trent Boult went on to bowl another dot ball after which Tripathi came down the track on the fifth delivery of the first over.

Trent Boult bowled another out swinging delivery around the fifth stump line as he saw Rahul Tripathi coming down the pitch. Tripathi opened the face of his bat and the ball traveled toward the slip cordon. While the ball was certainly at some distance from Jason Holder, he grabbed it perfectly while stretching his left hand.

Jason Holder made a tough catch look really simple as Trent Boult struck twice in the same over. The first over bowled by Trent Boult was a double-wicket maiden as Sunrisers Hyderabad couldn’t score a single run in it. The SRH innings couldn’t recover from these two dismissals as they kept losing wickets at regular intervals.
