Mohammed Siraj bowled an exceptional 9-over spell and ended up registering his career-best bowling figure. He ended up taking 6/15 and made the South African batter dance on his tune. It was an incredible 90-100 minutes for Team India, and everyone seemed to have enjoyed that session, including Virat Kohli.
India dismissed the hosts for a total of 55 runs in just 23.2 overs. Jasprit Bumrah and Mukesh Kumar also chipped in with two wickets each. It was a dream spell by Siraj which forced South Africa to register their lowest test total at home. It was also the lowest total by a team against India in the longest format of the game.

It was a pretty eventful session for the visitors, as they completely thrashed South Africa. Every Indian player was looking full of energy and the environment was pretty playful. Virat Kohli, who is always in to entertaining the crowd, was once again at the centre stage among the fans. One moment was caught when Marco Jansen got out and Keshav Maharaj came to the crease.
As soon the batter joined in the crease, the DJ played the song of “Ram Siya Ram.” Virat Kohli, who was standing at the slips, did arrow gesture and then folded his hands. The video of this incident is going viral on the Internet and everyone is talking about it.
Speaking of the game, after the Indian bowlers, the batters also had a pretty good start. Though India lost Yashasvi Jaiswal for a duck, but after that Rohit Sharma and Shubman Gill added an important partnership to take India past South Africa’s score. Both batters completed a 50-run stand off just 64 balls. India have already taken a first-inning lead. They will look to score big in the first innings, so they are not required to bat again. Meanwhile, Rohit got out for a 50-ball 39 at 72 runs in 14.2 overs.
