LSG vs PBKS: Watch Marcus Stoinis Smoke Quick-Fire Fifty
The mighty LSG all-rounder made his intentions pretty clear right from the word go as he smashed a maximum and then a four against debutant Gurnoor Brar. He took experienced Sam Curran and got two boundaries in the 10th over of the LSG innings which he bowled.
Marcus Stoinis made a formidable partnership for the third wicket along with young Ayush Badoni as both the batters went all guns blazing. Badoni was dismissed in the 14th over after playing a brilliant knock of 43 runs off just 24 balls after which Stoinis got support from Nicholas Pooran.

Stoinis then hit a four and a six against Kagiso Rabada and crossed the 50-run mark in just 30 deliveries. On the other end, Pooran was looking quite threatening as well and the two LSG batters played aggressive shots against Arshdeep Singh and Kagiso Rabada in consecutive overs.
Punjab Kings finally got rid of Stoinis in the 19th over as he tried playing a scoop shot against Sam Curran but couldn’t connect Jitesh Sharma grabbed the catch. The mighty all-rounder smashed 72 runs off 40 deliveries with 6 fours and 5 monstrous sixes as he also registered his career-best IPL score.
Rahul Chahar was the only Punjab Kings bowler who could restrict the LSG batters to some extent while all other bowlers conceded in excess of 12 runs per over. The aggressive intent shown by Lucknow Super Giants batters took their total to 257-5 in the LSG vs PBKS contest.
