Watch: Marco Jansen’s brilliant first over in the SRH vs KKR clash
KKR opening batter Rahmanullah Gurbaz didn’t get to face even a single delivery in the first over against Bhuvneshwar Kumar as Jason Roy played all the six deliveries. Gurbaz then got on strike to face the first delivery of second over bowled by Marco Jansen.
The SRH pacer bowled a good length delivery to which Gurbaz jumped down the track and went for a wild heave on the on side. However, the Hyderabad surface had enough bounce as the ball hit high on his bat and the ball went high up in the air. Harry Brook called for the catch and took a sitter as Rahmanullah Gurbaz was dismissed for a Golden Duck.

In-form Venkatesh Iyer then came in to bat at the number 3 position. Iyer scored 6 runs off the first 3 deliveries he faced against Marco Jansen including a boundary as he clearly looked to show some intent right from the beginning.
On the final delivery of the second over, the SRH pacer went for a the short pitch stuff as the ball reached the batter at an awkward height. Venkatesh Iyer was quite late on his shot as he was beaten by the pace of the delivery. The ball made contact with his glove after which keeper Heinrich Klaasen took an easy catch.
Marco Jansen’s double-strike in his first over helped Sunrisers Hyderabad to dominate the game for a while. The KKR side eventually managed to post a total of 171-9 in the KKR vs SRH clash.
