David Warner called Anrich Nortje to bowl the 19th over of Gujarat Titans’ innings while they needed 33 runs off the remaining 2 overs. While DC fans were expecting Nortje to bowl an economical over and take the game further away from Gujarat Titans but Rahul Tewatia had different plans.

Anrich Nortje just conceded 3 runs off the first three deliveries against Hardik Pandya after which Tewatia got the strike. The DC pacer missed his length while trying for a yorker as Rahul Tewatia deposited the low full toss over the deep square leg boundary.

The mighty pacer again went for the yorker as the GT all-rounder backed away and got under the ball. He smashed it over the long-on boundary to get his second six and put all sorts of pressure on the Delhi Capitals’ side.

Anrich Nortje was quite keen with his plan of trying yorker length deliveries but missed it again. Tewatia waited for the low full toss and slogged it over the cow corner and got the hat-trick of sixes against one of the finest pacers in the cash-rich league.

Gujarat Titans got 21 runs off Nortje’s over after which they just needed 12 runs off the final over against Ishant Sharma. However, the experienced pacer showed great temperament and went on to concede just 6 runs and dismissed Rahul Tewatia as well and helped his side to win the GT vs DC contest by 5 runs.
