Watch: KKR’s Impact Player Suyash Sharma dismisses 3 RCB batters including Dinesh Karthik
Suyash Sharma conceded 9 runs in his first over of his debut IPL match. However, he showed nerves of steel and dismissed Anuj Rawat and Dinesh Karthik in his second over pushing Royal Challengers Bangalore into deeper trouble.
The 19-year-old leg spinner bowled a tossed-up delivery to Anuj Rawat. Consequently, the left-handed batter kneeled down trying to slog it towards mid-wicket but could only manage a top edge. Sunil Narine took a simple catch at the short third man as Suyash Sharma grabbed his maiden IPL wicket.

On the fifth delivery of his second over, Suyash again bowled a tossed-up delivery. This time against seasoned campaigner Dinesh Karthik. The wicketkeeper-batter who’s known for playing aggressive shots against spinners tried playing it over cover.
Dinesh Karthik couldn’t middle the shot as the ball went straight into the hands of Varun Chakravarthy. Suyash Sharma then went on to dismiss Karn Sharma with the help of his skipper Nitish Rana. He took a simple catch at the slip position.
KKR’s Impact Player Suyash Sharma actually created some impact in the KKR vs RCB game as he rattled through their middle order in quick succession. He eventually finished with the figures of 4 for 30 in his four-over spell.
Courtesy of some brilliant bowling from the spin trio of Narine, Varun, and Suyash, the Kolkata Knight Riders dismissed the RCB batting lineup in just 17.4 overs. Royal Challengers Bangalore side was dismissed and fell short of the KKR total by 81 runs.
