IPL 2023: Putting out an article without knowing the facts is crazy: Jofra Archer
The injury in his right elbow had kept Archer out of action for 2 years. After the circulation of rumors, the English pacer took to Twitter on April 26 and heavily criticized the media house for publishing the news without checking the facts.
“Putting out an article without knowing the facts & without my consent is crazy. Whoever the reporter is shame on you, an already worrying and troubling time for a player and you exploit it for your personal gain, it’s people like you that are the problem,” Jofra Archer wrote on Twitter.
The aggressive pacer recently made a comeback to international cricket in the ODI series against South Africa but never looked in rhythm. However, according to a report in ESPN Cricinfo, the MI pacer may return to the playing XI for the game against Rajasthan Royals on April 30.

Jofra Archer hasn’t looked at his best yet in the cash-rich league as he gave away 42 runs in his four-over spell against the Punjab Kings while taking a solitary wicket. He remained wicketless in his first game against Royal Challengers Bangalore in which he leaked 33 runs.
Archer is the main weapon for the Rohit Sharma-led franchise in the absence of their ruled-out key pacer Jasprit Bumrah. Moreover, Mumbai Indians have won only 3 out of their first 7 games this season and will expect Jofra Archer to play all the remaining games and make an impact with his express pace.
