LSG vs RCB: Watch Virat Kohli react to the heated exchange with Gautam Gambhir
Chasing the target, LSG lost regular wickets in the middle. In the end, they were dismissed for 108 runs in 19.5 overs. However, after the game, Virat had a verbal spat with LSG pacer Naveen-ul-Haq during the handshake. Later, Gambhir took Kyle Mayers away when he was having a chat with the former RCB skipper. That led to some ugly scenes between Virat and Gambhir.

It went to that level when players from each team had to intervene to separate the two Delhi boys. LSG spinner Amit Mishra, assistant coach Vijay Dahiya, and RCB skipper Faf du Plessis came in between to separate the two. After the win, the Bangalore franchise shared a video clip of the players in the dressing room, where Virat was seen taking a dig at Gambhir. He said, “If you can give it, you got to take it. Otherwise don’t give it.”
He said this in reference to Gambhir’s gesture of ‘finger of lips” to the RCB crowd after LSG’s 1-wicket win against RCB last time. Notably, the BCCI also punished Virat and Gambhir and charged them 100 percent of their game fees for breaching the IPL’s code of conduct. Meanwhile, pacer Naveen was also fined 50 percent of his match fee.
