ICC Cricket World Cup 2023: The IND vs PAK game is always worth watching. It is because these two teams don’t play a bilateral series with each other. They only face each other in multi-national tournaments like the World Cup and the Asia Cup. India and Pakistan have already played a game in the ongoing ICC Cricket World Cup 2023. But that was a one-sided match.

India dominated Pakistan completely and won comfortably. But what if these two teams face each other in the semi-finals? That will be a high-voltage clash, and it will surely set the tournament on fire. Pakistan lost four consecutive games, and their qualification to the semi-final looked difficult. Team India became the first team to qualify for the semi-finals of the tournament. They have won all their group matches, and with eight consecutive wins, they comfortably qualify for the next round. South Africa and Australia are the other two teams to qualify. Now, the fight is for the remaining slot. New Zealand, Pakistan, and Afghanistan are the three contenders for this slot.

New Zealand have a better NRR, and if they win their last game against Sri Lanka on Thursday, then it will be tough for Pakistan to qualify. But as per the weather forecast, there is a chance of rain during the game, which can wash out the match. If the match gets washed out, Pakistan will need to beat England in their last game by a decent margin, which will help them qualify.

On the other hand, Afghanistan also has 8 points, but their NRR is very low, and if they beat South Africa in their last game, it will not improve much. And if Pakistan becomes the fourth team to qualify, then the first semi-final will have a contest between the No. 1 and No. 4 ranked teams. It means there will be a clash between India and Pakistan on November 15 at the Wankhede Stadium. And are you ready for another high-voltage clash between two archrivals?
