Aus vs WI:Cameron Green Has Tested Positive for COVID19

Australia’s all-rounder Cameron Green tested positive for the Covid-19 before the second and final Test, which begins at the Gabba Ground in Brisbane on January 25 with the West Indies.

The opening case came out in an Australian camp when batsman Travis Head tested positive on Monday. Subsequently, Head’s results turned negative after he independently went to the second Test at Brisbane’s The Gabba.

Along with Travis Head, Australian head coach Andrew McDonald also received negative test results for the virus. Green and McDonald, after resuming training with the squad, were temporarily left alone until their test results confirmed their negative status. Although Cameron Green’s Covid-19 result is pending, he is expected to make the final match in the Test series against the West Indies. Gabba has a designated spare dressing room, which was executed during the COVID-19 pandemic.

Australia’s vice-captain Steve Smith Confirmed Cameron Green and Andrew McDonald, assured that they were in good health and that “physical problems were not at all – just positive tested. Two players have confirmed that the virus is not infected.
