Three RCB-released Players who can earn big money at the IPL 2024 auction
1. Wanindu Hasaranga
Sri Lankan star all-rounder Wanindu Hasaranga was with RCB for two seasons, and he was the second-highest wicket-taker in the 2022 season. RCB had him at a price of INR 10 crore. He will be back at auction, and a number of franchises will be looking to have him. Hasaranga is a wicket-taking leg spinner who is one of the best in the shortest format. Adding to that, his batting has also improved now. All in all, he is a complete T20 package.
2. Josh Hazlewood
RCB releasing Josh Hazlewood was a big shock, but later the franchise revealed that the pacer was expecting his child and would be on a one-month gap during the IPL 2024. However, Hazlewood has registered himself for the auction, and he will be a hot prospect to have in any team. CSK used him brilliantly, and he was RCB’s main bowler. In 27 IPL games, he has taken 35 wickets and will attract a few franchises.
3. Harshal Patel
Harshal Patel was the death specialist for the Royal Challengers Bangalore over the past few seasons. But his form has declined a bit, which was the reason that RCB released him. They might want to have him at a cheaper price, but there will be a few more franchises that are looking to have him for their teams. Harshal bowls well at the death. He has taken 111 wickets in 92 IPL games, and as an Indian player, he can play every game.
