Andre Russell, not to be outdone, played a blistering innings, racking up 41 runs off a mere 19 balls; his knock, studded with massive hits, propelled KKR to their formidable total. Despite an onslaught that saw the Knight Riders hammer 18 sixes and 22 fours in their innings, they fell tantalizingly short of the record IPL total.

Delhi Capitals, facing a Goliath-like challenge, faltered in their chase and were bowled out for just 166 runs.
