IPL 2023 has reached it’s playoffs stage after cricket fans witnessed some nail-biting thrillers right from the first league game. There have been some exceptional individual performances in the league stage as well.

1. Faf du Plessis

Faf du Plessis finished the IPL 2023 league stage as the leading run-scorer. He amassed 730 runs with an exceptional average of 56.14 and strike rate of 154. The RCB skipper also smashed 8 crucial fifties to keep his team in the hunt.

2. Yashasvi Jaiswal

The Rajasthan Royals’ opener stunned everyone with his aggressive batting and scored 361 runs in the powerplay overs. Yashasvi Jaiswal scored 625 runs with an average of 48.08 and strike rate of 164. His brilliant ton against the Mumbai Indians was one of the highlights of IPL 2023.

3. Virat Kohli

Virat batted as an opener throughout the tournament but number 3 is his natural position and he certainly deserves a place in the best playing XI of IPL 2023. He smashed 639 runs with a strike rate of 139.82 and scored back-to-back hundreds in the last two league games for RCB.

4. Suryakumar Yadav

Suryakumar Yadav is the leading run-getter for Mumbai Indians in IPL 2023. He scored 511 runs with a strike rate of 185.14 including a massive hundred against the Gujarat Titans and 4 fifties.

5. Heinrich Klaasen (wk)

Heinrich Klaasen was the stand out performer for Sunrisers Hyderabad. He amassed 448 runs in IPL 2023 with a strike rate of 177. He scored a sensational hundred too in the game against RCB.

6. Rinku Singh

Rinku Singh smashed GT pacer Yash Dayal for 5 consecutive sixes and since then got all sorts of limelight. He scored 474 runs for the KKR side and mostly batted in crucial situations of the game.

7. Ravindra Jadeja

The CSK all-rounder bowled some stellar spells whenever conditions helped him. He took 17 wickets with an excellent economy rate of 7.65 and also scored 153 runs with a strike rate of 138 and thus deserves a place in the best playing XI of IPL 2023.

8. Rashid Khan

The GT all-rounder played a crucial part in their campaign taking 24 wickets with an economy rate of 7.82 and also got a 4-wicket haul. He also scored his IPL best of 79* against the Mumbai Indians.

9. Mohammed Shami

Shami is leading the Purple Cap list as he has scalped 24 wickets for Gujarat Titans with an economy rate of 7.70 and has also registered a 4-wicket haul for them. Shami has taken 15 wickets in the Powerplay alone which is the most by any bowler this season.

10. Yuzvendra Chahal

The RR leg-spinner took 21 wickets with the best figures of 4-17 and has taken 4 three-wicket hauls in IPL 2023.

11. Matheesha Pathirana

Matheesa Pathirana has been the find of the season for the Chennai Super Kings bowling some brilliant yorkers at the death for them. He has taken 15 wickets most of which have come at the death overs.
