T20 World Cup 2024: Schedule, Fixtures, Time & Venue: All details you need to know

The mega event of the T20 World Cup 2024 is all set to start in the USA and the West Indies. This tournament will kick off on June 1. A total of 20 teams have qualified for the tournament, and this will be the first time that so many teams will play in the competition. The first round will see four groups divided into five teams each.

Every group will end with two top teams that will qualify for the Super 8. A total of eight teams from four groups will qualify for the next round. Then there will be two groups of four teams in the Super 8. Two teams each from both groups will qualify for the semi-final. There will be a total of 55 matches in the tournament, with the final taking place on June 29.

Group A: India, Pakistan, Ireland, Canada, USA

Group B: England, Australia, Namibia, Scotland, Oman

Group C: New Zealand, West Indies, Afghanistan, Uganda, Papua New Guinea

Group D: South Africa, Sri Lanka, Bangladesh, Netherlands, Nepal

Schedule for ICC T20 World Cup 2024

The groups are divided to give more chances to teams to play matches against the new teams. However, the biggest game of the tournament, which will be played between India and Pakistan, will take place on Sunday, June 9, at the Nassau County International Cricket Stadium in New York.
