3 All-rounders who can make a comeback as Replacement in the IPL 2024 if needed
IPL 2024: The Indian Premier League 2024 is likely to start on March 23. The Chennai Super Kings (CSK) will be defending the title among the other nine teams. However, the complete schedule for the coming season will be announced soon. As with the last season, this one is also expected to be played at home and in award format. The IPL 2024 auction changed the schedule of some teams.
A total of 72 players signed a deal, and there were some big numbers invested during the auction. However, there were some big names that went unsold during the auction. But, as you know, there is always a second chance. Especially in a tournament like the IPL that runs for more than two months. So an injury is normal, which gives a new player a chance as a replacement. Here we will talk about three all-rounders that can come in as replacements if needed in the IPL 2024.

3. Jamie Overton
English all-rounder Jamie Overton has established himself as a hard-hitting all-rounder in the shorter format. He has been playing in leagues around the world. Overton was part of BBL, ILT20, and ongoing PSL in the last couple of months. He did well with the bat and the ball. Overton gives a death bowling option to the team and can also tonk the ball. Overton is a genuine all-rounder to have on the side.
2. Jason Holder
Jason Holder was a surprise when he went unsold. Holder, a proven match-winner with the bat and the ball, has immense experience in this format. He has also played 46 matches and picked up 53 wickets at a decent economy rate of 8.81. Although he didn’t get many chances with the bat, he has scored 259 runs at a strike rate of 122.75. Holder can bowl well in the final overs and can bat as a floater. There will be some teams that might go for him if required to replace anyone.
1. James Neesham
The Kiwi all-rounder James Neesham is another big name in the franchise league. He has been playing in all T20 competitions across the globe and has been regarded as a brilliant all-rounder. Neesham has played a handful of games in the IPL but hasn’t had many chances. However, he has done well in the SA20 and BPL, and on the basis of his current form, IPL teams can prefer to have him in the IPL 2024.
