Record-breaking game in Bangalore; Here are some all-time Records broken in the PAK vs NZ game
PAK vs NZ: The game between Pakistan and New Zealand is underway at the M. Chinnaswamy Stadium, Bengaluru. This game started with Pakistan winning the toss and deciding to bowl first. But that decision didn’t go well. New Zealand went on to cross the 400-run mark in ODIs for the first time and posted their highest ODI total in history. New Zealand made a massive total of 401/6 in the first inning.
It was a brilliant batting performance by the Black Caps. It was Rachin Ravindra who went berserk and smashed his third hundred of the tournament off just 83 balls. The left-hander made 108 runs off 94 balls, with 15 boundaries and one six. Kane Williamson also played a good innings of 95 runs off 79 balls. With this hundred, Rachin becomes the first batter from New Zealand to score three hundreds in a single edition of the World Cup.

With this hundred, Rachin has taken his tally to 523 runs in eight games. He has also equaled the record of Sachin Tendulkar, which he set in the 1996 World Cup hundred. Sachin made 523 runs in that edition before turning 25. Rachin is currently 23 years old and has equaled that record. He still has some games left, and the way he is going, he will set some big records.
This was also New Zealand’s highest ODI total of all time, and they became only the fourth team to score 400 or more in a World Cup game. But not just in the first innings; Pakistan also answered pretty well. After Abdullah Shafique got out, Babar Azam and Fakhar Azam added a brilliant partnership for the second wicket. Both batters added 154 runs. Fakhar Zaman smashed the fastest World Cup hundred for Pakistan and made a 63-ball hundred. We are in for a big finish on the line.
