Challenging Chase for Australia

Despite a quick start by Travis Head and Hardie in the chase, consistent wicket falls increased the required run rate for Australia. The team found themselves needing 13 runs per over to secure the victory.

Maxwell’s Record-equalling Century

In a remarkable display, Glenn Maxwell not only secured his fourth T20I century but also equalled Rohit Sharma’s record. Maxwell became the first batsman in T20 history to achieve three centuries while chasing, surpassing other notable names in the process.
