The time has finally come to close the curtains on this year’s IPL tournament. With just 3 more games to, Chennai Super Kings have already reached the finals. They’ve officially played their last game at Chepauk for this year and MS Dhoni opened up on his retirement plans. After the CSK vs GT match that ended in a victory for the home team, MS Dhoni was asked whether it could be his last season with the team.

While MS Dhoni never officially mentioned that it could be the last year of his IPL career, throughout the season, this has been the talk of the town. During the post-match presentation when the CSK skipper was asked the question, he politely replied that he is yet to arrive at a decision. MS Dhoni explained that there were 8-9 months to go before the preparations of the next year and that he will make a final call later.

“I have 8-9 months to decide,” answers MS Dhoni on his retirement question

CSK vs GT: MS Dhoni Opens Up on His Retirement Plans

“I don’t know (back next year?) – I have 8-9 months to decide. Why take that headache now? I’ll always be there for CSK, where it’s playing or something outside. IPL is too big to say it’s just another final. Used to be 8 top teams, now it’s 10. I won’t say it’s just another final. It’s hard work of 2 months. Everybody has contributed. If Jaddu gets conditions that help him, he’s very difficult to hit. His bowling changed the game. Not to forget his partnership with Moeen.” I can be a very annoying captain,” MS Dhoni said.
