Jos Buttler couldn’t score much for the Rajasthan Royals’ side in the last few games due to which they failed a couple of times as a batting unit. However, he made sure to score enough runs in the crucial game against Sunrisers Hyderabad on a high-scoring pitch at the Sawai Mansingh Stadium.

RR vs SRH: Jos Buttler’s heroic knock of 95 runs powers Rajasthan Royals to a mammoth total

The experienced batter looked in some rhythm right from the word go as he smashed Marco Jansen for consecutive boundaries in the second over of RR innings. Once Yashasvi Jaiswal was departed, Buttler changed the gears and smashed a six and a four against Abhishek Sharma in the 10th over.

In the 12th over, Jos Buttler reached the 50-run mark off just 33 deliveries as he along with skipper Sanju Samson kept attacking the SRH bowlers. The RR batter again took on Jansen in the 15th over and smoked back to back boundaries against the left-arm pacer.

Buttler then took on experienced SRH pacer Bhuvneshwar Kumar in the 17th over of RR innings. He smashed 3 fours as the Sanju Samson led-side got 17 runs and cruised towards a massive total.

Bhuvneshwar Kumar again came in to bowl the penultimate over of the Rajasthan Royals’ innings. The SRH pacer bowled an incredible yorker as Jos Buttler missed to flick it off his pads. The fielding side reviewed it as the RR batter was eventually adjudged LBW.

Jos Buttler scored 95 runs off just 59 deliveries including 10 fours and 4 maximums but missed his hundred by a small margin. Sanju Samson too scored 66 runs off just 38 deliveries. Courtesy of the brilliant knocks by the two Rajasthan Royals’ batters, they posted a mammoth total of 214-2 in their 20 overs in the RR vs SRH contest.
