After losing two matches on the trot, Mumbai Indians have bounced back with two successive wins and now they seem to have the winning formula. Despite the two wins, it’s safe to say that MI hasn’t nailed down their best playing XI yet and that is because of the unavailability of their premier pacer Jofra Archer. Rohit Sharma, Ishan Kishan, and Suryakumar Yadav, all are back-scoring runs and that’s a big plus for the Mumbai-based team.

Sunrisers Hyderabad began the campaign on a poor note, losing their first two games. But since then, they have also quickly turned the tables around by winning the next two to head into this game with a lot of confidence. Playing at their home will help them to make it three wins this season. Harry Brook’s return to form is great news for them.  Aiden Markran scoring runs is a great sign for them and the bowlers have been executing their plans well. If SRH plays to their strength then they will be tough to beat.

3) Rohit Sharma vs Marco Jansen

Rohit was the hero for his team’s first win against Delhi Capitals and will look to replicate his performance in the upcoming match. In the last game, Rohit scored 20 off 13 balls to help his side get off to a flying start. The MI opener takes calculated risks at the start and that’s where SRH can get him out. Skipper Markram will turn to the tall left-arm seam option in Marco Jansen.

The Proteas Speedster has picked four wickets in two games at an average of 13.25, an economy of 7.57, and a strike rate of 10.5. Fast bowlers get some assistance in the powerplay in Hyderabad and Jansen will look to exploit if there is any movement available against the MI skipper.

2) Tim David vs T Natarajan

Tim David has been playing the role of the finisher since the last season. In the previous two games, while MI were chasing, he remained unbeaten and made sure his team chased down the targets set by the opposition. The hard-hitting batter is capable of turning matches on their head with his quickfire knocks and he will be challenged by the SRH’s slog overs specialist T Natarajan.

The left-arm seamer has managed to pick up just three wickets in four games this season. Because he bowls the tough overs his economy has been around 10. Natarajan will have a huge task in hand to stop David’s juggernaut as he is known to make an impact with the bat in the end overs.

1) Harry Brook vs Piyush Chawla

England’s batting sensation announced himself in the toughest T20 league with his maiden IPL century. Opening the batting for SRH, Brook remained unbeaten on 100 runs off 55 deliveries and won the Player of the Match award for his heroics with the bat. Brook averages 18.53 against leg spin and strikes at 119.83. Even in the last game, his struggle against spin was evident.

Harry Brook will be tested by MI’s most effective bowler- Piyush Chawla. Chawla has been in excellent form to bolster that spin attack. He has taken five wickets at an average of 20 and an economy rate of 6.25. The wily leg spinner has been very difficult to pick, especially for the right-handed batters.
