RCB vs CSK: Royal Challengers Bangalore’s skipper Faf du Plessis and Glenn Maxwell played breathtaking knocks against Chennai Super Kings on April 17. After the RCB vs CSK game, MS Dhoni praised both the opposing batters and commented that if Faf and Maxwell had continued, RCB would have won by the 18th over.

Chennai Super Kings posted a mammoth total of 226-6 in their 20 overs and looked like they’ll win the game quite easily. However, Faf du Plessis and Glenn Maxwell took on the CSK bowling lineup and at one point they had brought Royal Challengers Bangalore much ahead in the game.

Faf du Plessis and Glenn Maxwell stitched a 126-run partnership for the third wicket at a blistering rate while the CSK bowlers had no idea how to stop them. By the end of the 12th over, RCB had a score of 141-2 and was much ahead of the asking run rate.

“If Faf and Maxi had continued, they’d have won by the 18th over, so you need to get engrossed with the process, know what is the bowling change, what can I do from which end, what is really happening, if something has really changed,” MS Dhoni said in the post-match press conference.
