They did it in 2022 in Birmingham, and it is also the 8th-highest run chase in test history and the highest for England. India made 416 in the first innings with Rishabh Pant (146) and Ravindra Jadeja (104) scoring hundreds. England replied with 284, and India got a lead of 132 runs.
