Brian Lara and Carl Hooper couldn’t contain their emotions following West Indies’ triumph over Australia in the 2nd Test at The Gabba in Brisbane. Lara, visibly moved with tears in his eyes, shared his excitement from the commentator’s box during the AUS vs WI 2nd Test, while Hooper expressed his emotions during a live stream.

In the AUS vs WI 2nd Test, the West Indies secured an 8-run victory in Brisbane, with Shamar Joseph taking 7 wickets to dismantle the Australian batting lineup. Despite a strong start, Australia fell short of the 216-run target in the final inning, with opener Steve Smith’s unbeaten half-century of 91 runs not proving enough.

The victory marked the West Indies’ historic Test win in Australia after 37 years and their first triumph over Australia in a Test match since 2003, astonishing cricket fans worldwide.

Brian Lara, elated by Kraigg Brathwaite’s leadership, expressed his joy in the commentary box, accompanied by former Australian wicketkeeper Adam Gilchrist. Meanwhile, Carl Hooper, a former West Indies captain who played alongside Lara, was captured getting emotional during the live stream.
